Founder / DJ
Darren has more than 30 years of entertainment experience. He began as a mobile DJ in Norwich, then moved into radio and worked as a floor manager for local bands. In 1997, a Miami-based agent invited him to DJ at a 5-star club in Hamburg, Germany. As a result, Darren spent six years abroad, renewing his contract annually while building international experience and learning diverse music styles.
In 2003, Darren launched Connections Disco Norwich, creating memorable events across the UK. Later, in 2016, he expanded into Connections Entertainment, offering a full 360-degree entertainment package. Today, Darren leads a professional team of Norfolk DJs, ensuring every event receives the right mix of energy, expertise, and style.

Clare is a key member of our team, balancing sales and administration with her passion for children’s discos. She ensures every booking runs smoothly, from first enquiry to final confirmation, thanks to her excellent communication and organisation.
In the office, Clare manages schedules, supports clients, and keeps everything on track. Out at events, she shines as a children’s disco entertainer, bringing energy, fun, and laughter to parties across Norwich, Norfolk, and Suffolk.
Her attention to detail and friendly approach make clients feel supported, while her commitment to excellence reflects the values of Connections Entertainment. Clare’s dedication and care make her an indispensable part of our team.

Gavin started DJing at 16 with an incredible passion for music. Soon after, he worked as a mobile disco DJ in Norwich and later progressed into the nightlife scene. He also trained with professionals at Vibe FM and King’s Lynn FM, which strengthened his technical and crowd-reading skills.
Today, Gavin is a specialist wedding DJ in Norfolk and party DJ in Norwich. He tailors every set to suit the couple or client, blending genres seamlessly and reading the crowd to keep the dance floor alive. Therefore, his performances are always personal, memorable, and full of energy.

Vinny has spent more than 30 years DJing in pubs, clubs, hotels, and private venues across Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Lowestoft, King’s Lynn, and Suffolk. Because of this experience, he has developed an outstanding reputation as a reliable mobile disco Norwich DJ who always puts clients first.
Vinny adds a modern twist to every show, using intelligent LED lighting, lasers, and crystal-clear sound systems. Neil began his career as a “roady” for a local DJ. However, his passion for music soon pushed him behind the decks. After gaining experience as a mobile DJ in Norwich, he moved into the nightlife scene, working at some of the city’s best-known party venues.
Today, Neil brings energy and versatility to every event. For example, he can switch from romantic wedding playlists to upbeat party sets with ease. Clients value his professionalism, reliability, and ability to keep the dance floor full. As part of our event DJs Norfolk team, Neil guarantees entertainment that flows seamlessly from start to finish.
